So, 12 days to be home and 12 days to be at the beach. And that is quite worrying. Not that I'm worried about my shape. I know that ship has sailed a long time ago, but I'm worried about my swimwear. Although they still fit me, my bikinis from last year are quite small. Not that that is a problem. I like small. The thing is that I'm huge, so I might overshadow the bikini bottoms to the point that they actually become invisible. Hence the search for high-waist and 50's inspired bikini bottoms. I headed to asos.com because they usually have things for big girls and I found these poppy print ones that I loved. They're retro and big, but not big enough. They only go up to a UK size 18 (Eur 46) and I fluctuate between a UK size 18(Eur46) and a UK size 20 (Eur 48) and I don't own a measuring tape to be quite sure of my measurements so I gave up on the idea. I am kinda mad that asos.com doesn't cater to bigger women when it comes to swimwear. I think they could only profit from it. But I don't wanna bring that up again. Still I think they're so gorgeous,so I had to share them with you.
Now, the problem remains. Where the hell am I finding beautiful and inexpensive bikinis for fatties like me?
(And no I don't believe in swimsuits or tankinis. I like to be as naked as possible, which sometimes even means bringing the girls out. But again I went to the beach naked until I was like 6, so...)

Faltam 12 dias para estar em Portugal e 12 dias para estar pronta para a praia. E isto preocupa-me. Não por não estar em forma. Já me conformei com o facto de isso nunca acontecer. No entanto, estou preocupada com o que usar para a praia. É que, apesar de ainda me servirem, os meus bikinis do ano passado são pequenitos. Não que isso seja um problema. O problema é que eu estou gigante, o que pode levar a fazer desaparecer a parte de baixo no meio de tanta carne. Daí a busca por uma parte de baixo com cintura alta, inspirada nos anos 50. Assim, fui ao asos.com, porque eles costumam ter coisas para meninas grandes e encontrei esta com padrão floral que adorei. É retro e grandinha como queria, mas não grande o suficiente. O tamanho maior é um 46 e eu flutuo entre o 46 e 48, e como não tenho fita métrica para me medir acabei por desistir da ideia.
Estou um bocadinho chateada por não terem bikinis de tamanhos maiores de bikinis, já que têm roupa plus-size. Acho que só os podia beneficiar a eles. Mas pronto não vou entrar de novo nesta conversa. De qualquer modo, são tão giras que resolvi partilhá-las convosco.
Mas o problema persiste. Onde é que vou encontrar bikinis baratinhos e giros para gordas como eu?
(E não, eu não acredito em fatos-de-banho ou em tankinis. Gosto de estar o mais nua possível, o que às vezes significa um topless. Mas também eu fui nua para a praia até ter uns 6 anos, por isso...)
