Do Sweat It!

A bit over a month ago I've tried vanilla custard rice pudding and I loved it so much that's all I've been having as dessert since then. I've also been wearing the same deodorant and foundation for the past couple of years and the same makeup remover for about ten years. I've even been with the same awesome guy for the last four years. That's the thing with me. I don't need variety and quantity and I'm not constantly on the hunt for the next best thing, I just need to find something that I like and I just stick with it. I've always liked to believe this was an option, but deep down inside, I know it's just one of my many compulsions and as most compulsions, this one takes hold of all aspects of my life, including my wardrobe. My most recent obsession are sweatshirts. I bought a few completely by accident and now it's all I wanna wear. They're just so me, which is so weird, because I'm such a cleavage kind of girl and these sweatshirts are so baggy and sporty and show no hint of boobs whatsoever. But hey, an obsession is an obsession and there's no reasoning with it! I'm so obsessed I even did a whole fashion shoot inspired by baggy sweatshirts (more on that and on how to make them less sporty and more luxurious very soon). Needless to say I need a few more, cause going through winter wearing the same three just isn't gonna work.

Not Enough Sequins

I already own a floral pastel sequin top (English native speakers, is this correct? Too many adjectives!), but I kinda fell in love with this one from Penneys/Primark. It's slightly different from the one I got from H&M and it's only €15... Should I go for it?

Wearing The Pants - Giambattista Valli Spring Couture 2013

I didn't think it could be done, but Giambattista Valli actually beat Dior in the Couture race.

I'm just dying with the pant dresses. If I were to go to a fabulous event, let's say the Oscars, I'd definitely wear one of them (if someone actually does it, I think I'll pee in my pants).

Eu pensava que não podia ser feito, mas Giambattista Valli bateu Dior na corrida da alta-costura desta Primavera.

Eu estou simplesmente louca com os vestidos/calças. Se eu fosse assim a um evento fabuloso, digamos os Óscares, usava um deles (acho que se alguém usar um nos Óscares, faço xixi nas cuecas).

Seriously, how perfect is this dress? I'm just obsessed with it!

Graphic Obsession

H&M

Walking around town with my boyfriend isn't just romantic but also a great workout. However it also brings unfortunate side-effects such as making me fall in love with this graphic t-shirt I saw at H&M. It is not too expensive but I wonder if it fits...

Dar um passeio pela cidade com o namorado não só é romântico, como um óptimo exercício. No entanto, também traz efeitos secundários algo negativos, como fazer-me apaixonar por esta t-shirt gráfica que vi na montra da H&M. Não é muito cara, mas acho que não vai servir...

Today I'm feeling very uninspired. Do you know when you look at a million blogs and magazines and nothing stands out? When you search every online stor there is, and there's nothing you crave? No? Well, good for you, cause I'm having one of those days and it ain't nice. I was actually worrying that I'd have nothing to show you, but then I remembered my obsession with makeup and with this particular eyeshadow. It's not plain brown as it seems in the picture. It's plum and just gorgeous in a way I can't even articulate, which kinda explains why it's sold out everywhere. I've also been in love with the blush for quite some time and it'd perfect for my Winter complexion. The same goes for the loose powder. Bronzer and pale skin don't go too well (yes, I wear bronzer as face powder). And the lipsticks...well, I don't really need them, but, you know, a girl can never have too many.

Hoje não me sinto nada inspirada. Sabem aqueles dias em que por mais blogs ou revistas que a pessoa veja, não há nada que tenha graça? Quando se vasculha tudo o que é loja online e não há nadinha que se deseje? Não? Ainda bem para vocês, porque eu estou assim e não estou a gostar nada.

Já estava a entrar em pânico a pensar que não havia nada que vos pudesse mostrar hoje, mas aí lembei-me da minha obsessão com maquilhagem e com esta sombra em particular. Não é este castanho deslavado que parece na imagem. É um ameixa tão lindo que nem tenho palavras para o descrever, o que se calhar explica o facto de estar esgotada em todo o lado.  Também já ando apaixonada pelo blush há algum tempo. É perfeito para a minha falta de cor invernal. E o mesmo se pode dizer do pó solto. É que o meu bronzer já não combina com esta palidez (sim, uso bronzer como pó). E os batôns...bem, eu não preciso mesmo deles, mas batôns nunca são demais.

Dear Santa, I Swear I've Been Nice #3

New Look

My new obsession is holographic everything. Nails, shoes, bags...You name it, I want it.

However, true holographic is hard to find. That's why I was so excited to see this New Look clutch. It's really, really holographic, pretty and has the right size for a night on the town. Small enough so it's not in my way and large enough to carry all my night-out essentials. And the best part? It's on sale! 

I almost bought it the other day when I saw it in store, but the good Lord stopped me and reminded me I had more urgent things to buy. But now that I think about it, what's more urgent than buying something that really makes you happy?

A minha nova obsessão são coisas holográficas. Unhas, sapatos, malas... Tudo! No entanto, o verdadeiro efeito é difícil de encontrar. Por isso é que fiquei tão contente quando encontrei esta clutch da New Look. É mesmo mesmo holográfica, é linda, e tem o tamanho certo para uma saída à noite. Pequena o suficiente para não empatar muito e grande o suficiente para meter lá todas as minhas tralhinhas. E a melhor parte? Está em saldos! 

Quase que a comprei no outro dia, mas o Senhor parou-me naquele momento e relembrou-me que tinha compras mais urgentes a fazer. Mas agora que penso bem nisso, que compra mais urgente pode haver, do que aquela que nos faz verdadeiramente felizes?

Dear Santa, I Swear I've Been Nice #1

Bimba&Lola

I know Advent only starts tomorrow, but I kinda felt bad associating gift begging with the birth of Christ, so I'm starting my fashion Advent calendar today. And instead of asking baby Jesus for gifts, I'll ask Santa, cause he seems to be more on the materialistic side and unlike Jesus he shouldn't really know whether I've been naughty or nice.

So for the next 23 days, I'll be posting all the wonderful things I'd love to see under my Christmas tree and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

And I'm starting off this list with the most beautiful necklace I've seen in my life and the one I've been longing for since I first saw it in August. The piece of jewelry I'd sell a kidney or an egg for. 

Maybe some of you will think it's crazy to want to carry three ballet dancing giraffes around my neck, but honestly there are a few little things in this life I'd like more than that, so please, please, Santa, be a nice guy and order this for me. It's on Christmas sale and everything.

Sei que o Advento só começa amanhã, mas ia sentir-me um bocadinho mal se associasse uma lista de prendas materialistas ao nascimento de Cristo, por isso vou começar o meu calendário do Advento fashion já hoje. E claro que em vez de fazer o pedido ao menino Jesus, vou mas é pedir ao Pai Natal, que me parece mais materialista e, ao contrário de Jesus, não deve ter a mais pequena ideia se me portei bem ou mal.

Assim nos próximos 23 irei mostrar-vos todas as coisas fantásticas que gostava de ter debaixo da árvore este Natal e espero mesmo que gostem tanto delas como eu!

E vamos começar a coisa com o colar mais bonito que eu já vi na vida e pelo qual tenho vindo a suspirar desde que o vi em Agosto. Aquela peça de bijuteria pela qual eu até vendia um rim ou um óvulo.

Talvez alguns de vocês estejam a pensar que isto de querer andar com três girafas bailarinas ao pescoço é coisa de gente maluca, mas há muito poucas coisas nesta vida que eu gostaria mais de ter, por isso Pai Natal, sê um querido e encomenda-me isto. Está em saldos de Natal e tudo.
