As some of you may know I am in my hometown of Lisbon, Portugal, enjoying some time in the sun. It's been great to see everyone I love and see all the things that are familiar to me. I feel like I don't wanna go back, but eventually, I must.
 Naturally being here leaves me very little time for blogging, but I'm took five minutes of freedom and looked up an editorial that would capture my current state of mind et voilà, here it is. Makes your skin burn, right?

Tem sido fantástico estar com todos aqueles que amo e ver todas as coisas que me são familiares.Nem quero pensar em ter de voltar para Dublin. Naturalmente voltar a casa não me deixa muito tempo livre para o blog, mas aproveitei estes cinco minutinhos livres para procurar e postar um editorial que captasse o meu actual estado de espírito, et voilà, aqui está ele. Hi everyone! I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a few days but blogging has become an impossible task these days. Today I'm coming back with my countdown, which will be all about my favorite fashion item, magazines.
 I'm desperate to get these two magazines, Vogue Brasil with Bianca Balti and American Glamour with Victoria Beckham. This last one is a fashion magazine lover's must have. Not only is Victoria on the cover wearing a tiara while taking a bubble bath , but she's also the guest editor of the September issue, the biggest and most important of the year. Really can't wait to get it! It's a good thing American magazines are so popular and inexpensive here in Dublin.

Olá! Desculpem não ter postado nada nos últimos dias, mas escrever no blog foi uma tarefa impossível de realizar nestes últimos dias. Mas hoje estou de volta com a minha contagem descrescente, que hoje é dedicada ao meu item de moda preferido, as revistas.
Estou obcecada por estas duas, a Vogue Brasil com a Bianca Balti e a Glamour americana com a Victoria Beckham. Preciso mesmo desta última. Não só temos a Victoria de tiara e a tomar um banho de espuma na capa, como é ela a editora convidada desta edição de Setembro, a maior e mais importante do ano. Mal posso esperar! Ainda bem que as revistas americanas são populares aqui por Dublin.Populares e baratinhas.

Forever 21 Plus size

I believe this is a controversial shirt and at least half of you won't like it, but I kinda love it. It reminds of the 90's, when silk shirts with bold patterns were the epitome of chic.

It also helps that it comes in my size and able to accommodate my boobs and my arms, which is a miracle in the shirt world. I'd really love to have something like this!

So did you like it or is it too 90's granny for you?

Acho que esta peça vai ser controversa e pelo menos metade de vocês não vai gostar dela, mas eu adoro-a. Lembra-me os anos 90, quando o cúmulo do chic eram estas camisas de seda com padrões gigantes e ousados.

Também ajuda haver o meu tamanho e o facto de acomodar os meus braços e mamas, o que é um milagre no mundo das camisas. Adorava ter uma assim.

I had so many ideas for posts for today, but I'm feeling so uninspired. 

It's a good thing I'm on my "Vacation Countdown", otherwise I know I would just take a break. And to stagnate is to die so I'm really glad I have something to keep the blog and myself alive.

Today's objects of desire are these tricolor shoes  that besides offering a lot of gorgeousness, also offer a stable heel. And I'm all about staying on my feet.
Tinha tantas ideas para postar hoje, mas estou a sentir-me muito pouco inspirada. Ainda bem que tenho a minha "Vacation Countdown", senão já sei que o blog ia sofrer um pequeno intervalo. E estagnar é morrer, por isso estou mesmo feliz por ter algo que mantém o blog e eu própria vivos.
Os objectos de desejo de hoje são estes sapatos tricolores da Zara Trf, que para além de oferecerem muito estilo, ofecerem ainda muita estabilidade, que é coisa que muito aprecio.

Vacation Countdown - 18 Days To Be Home

H&M +

As a plus-size girl, it is super hard to find jeans or trousers, which drives a lot of plus-size girls to wearing just skirts or dresses. Well, the thing is I don't wear skirts or dresses, so my clothing pool is even smaller. My salvation for many years has been H&M and more recently H&M+.

Today I was browsing through the site and found these forest green jeans. They seem to have the same shape as my favorite black jeans and they're in my favorite color, so it's a win win situation.

Excuse now while I run to the closest H&M.

Como rapariga plus size (ie, gorda mesmo) é super difícil encontrar calças, o que leva a muitas raparigas gordinhas a usar apenas saias e vestidos. Bom, o problema é que eu recuso-me a usar saias ou vestidos, por isso as minhas opções são mais limitadas. A minha salvação dos últimos anos tem sido a H&M e mais recentemente a H&M+. 

Hoje andava a passear-me pelo site e descobri estas calças em verde escuro. Parecem ser do mesmo modelo das minhas calças pretas preferidas e são na minha cor preferida, por isso parecem-me perfeitas.

Agora com licença que vou correr até à H&M mais próxima.

Since I saw these babies in Vogue I became obsessed! Aren't they the most beautiful shoes ever? (I'm pretty sure I have said this before and will say it again...) 

They're not very wearable, not for my lifestyle at least, but having them in my closet would make me so happy (yes shoes and money can bring happiness, people). I want them, I need them, but the sad reality is that I won't have them...Oh well!

 Desde que vi estes sapatos na Vogue que estou obcecada! Não são os sapatos mais fantásticos de sempre? (Acho que já disse isto antes e tenho a certeza que não será a última vez.)

Não são muito usáveis, pelo menos não para mim, mas tê-los no meu armário ia deixar-me tão feliz (Sim, sapatos e dinheiro podem trazer felicidade!).  

Quero-os, preciso deles, mas a triste realidade é que nunca os vou ter...Oh well!

Found these online, but I should definitely go to the store and check them out.
