Ok people, I know I'm a day too late to talk about this cover, but there's no way I could not talk about it! Most of you have seen it, but I'm sure some of you are waiting for my post, yes, you Ana Novo! So here it is! I think Kate is absolutely gorgeous! It's really romantic as it should, I mean, it's about a wedding! A bit too Vogue Us though. I mean, I keep getting the same vibe from the US Vogue. I'd like to see something different!

I'm also not too keen on the dress! Those rhinestones aren't doing it for me! Do you know who is it by? I can't seem to find out! Bad blogger!

Ok, pessoal, sei que estou um dia atrasada para falar desta capa, mas tenho de falar dela. Alguns de vocês já a viram, mas eu sei que há quem esteja à espera do meu post, não é Ana Novo? Então aqui está ela! A Kate está absolutamente fantástica! Linda! E o cenário está bastante romântico, como é suposto! Afinal, estamos a falar de um casamento! Mas está tudo muito Vogue US. As capas da Vogue US têm sempre o mesmo feel, sabem? Gostava de ver algo diferente!

O vestido também é um bocadinho estranho! Aquelas pedras não me convencem! Sabem de quem é o vestido? Não consigo descobrir! Bloguer má!

OH MY GOD! I just died and went to magazine cover heaven! Kristen Stewart is on the cover of W's September issue and she's looking hot! Don't you all wanna die and come back looking like that? Cause I do!

I'm not a big fan of Kristen's acting (the two movies she was in I ever saw were "Twilight" and "Panic Room" and in both, she always seems to be out of breath, which is rather disturbing and annoying) but I like her. She seems sweet in a deer-in-the-headlights kind of way. She has a cool style and as we can see here, she is gorgeous!

But don't credit it all on Kristen, W Magazine has something to do with it! They always have the best covers, the ones you go and say "Oh my God, I need to take the bus to O'Connell, go to Eason and spend 10€ that I don't have in that magazine!"! Oh, it doesn't happen to you? Well, just me then!

Anyways, I'm loving the 60's Playboy bunny vibe! Hopefully Mert Allas & Marcus Piggott can come and take my picture as well. And don't forget to bring Edward Enninful to style me like a goddess!

Oh meu Deus! Morri e fui para o paraíso das capas de revista! A Kristen Stewart está na capa da W de Setembro e está quente, muito quente! Não querem todas morrer e reencarnar na Kristen? Eu quero!

Não sou grande fã dela, enquanto actriz, porque nos dois filmes que vi dela, "Twilight" e "Sala de Pânico", ela estava sempre a arfar, o que é um bocadinho assustador e irritante. Mas ela parece querida, assim sempre meio perdida. Também tem um estilo bastante cool e, como podemos ver, a miúda é linda, por isso não há como não gostar.

Mas isto não é só obra da Kristen. A W também tem algo a ver com esta obra de arte. Eles têm sempre as melhores capas, aquelas que nos fazem pensar "Oh meu Deus, tenho de apanhar o autocarro para a O'Connell, ir à Eason e gastar €10, que não tenho, nesta revista!". Não vos acontece? É só a mim, então!

Bem, continuando, só para dizer que estou a adorar a vibe coelhinha da Playboy dos anos 60! Se Deus quiser, o Mert Allas & Marcus Piggott também vêm aqui a casa tirar-me umas fotos e trazem também o Edward Enninful para fazer o styling à deusa de Hollywwod!

I Would Like To Thank All The Fans..

Were you looking for some fab shoes or interesting fashion news? Sorry, this is just to say how thankful I am to Rachel from Rachel's Symbiotic Life for mentioning me on her blog! Sometimes you need a little boost like that! Last week I had two great friends over and I was having a little crisis! "Oh I'm not creative enough! Oh I'm not funny enough! Oh, why do I try?" And, as good friends always do, they reassured me that I was great! Funny and smart and all things good! But with best friends you never know, cause they're like moms, they're supposed to think you're great and love you no matter what, right? So when Rachel said I was funtastic(I'm so awesome, she had to make up a new word!), I got all proud and puffed and I started believing(I was already in a vain mood after Lux from Traço de Luz praised the blog in a comment! Thanks!)! So thanks Rachel! And thanks to all my other 24 faithful followers that let me know, every once in a while, how great (let me say I'm great, just this once ok?) I am!

Now, I'm gonna un-puff and try to be humble like they taught me at Sunday school!

Estavam à procura de sapatinhos bonitos ou notícias do mundo da moda? Desculpem, mas este post é só mesmo para dizer o quão grata eu estou à Rachel do Rachel's Symbiotic Life por me mencionar no blogue. Às vezes precisamos dum empurrãozinho destes! A semana passada tive cá em casa duas grandes amigas e estava a ter uma pequena crise existêncial! "Oh, não sou criativa!"Oh, não tenho piadinha nenhuma! Oh, porque é que eu ainda tento?". Como boas amigas, elas lá me asseguraram que eu era um máximo! Engraçada e inteligente e todas aquelas coisinhas boas! Mas com as melhores amigas nunca se sabe, porque elas são um bocadinho como as mães, é suposto elas gostarem de nós incondicionalmente. Por isso, quando a Rachel disse que eu era "funtastic"(eu sou tão boa, que uma palavra que efectivamente exista não é os suficiente para mim!), eu fiquei logo toda inchada como um peixe balão e comecei a acreditar ( eu já estava inchadinha, depois da Lux do Traço de Luz ter vindo aqui dizer que gostava do blog e que era actual e tal. Obrigada Lux!)! Por isso, obrigada Rachel. E obrigada aos outros fieis 24 seguidores que, de vez em quando, até me dizem o quão fantástica eu sou (deixem-me dizer que eu sou fantástica. Só desta vez, tá?)!

Agora vou só ali desinchar e ser humilde como me ensinaram na catequese, tá?

Nothing Is As Stupid As This T-Shirt

I'm home sick today and I was trying to ignore the fact that Kate Moss's Vogue US cover is out and all that, so I wouldn't have to try to post something funny about it, or about anything for that matter. However a trip to The Fashion Police has pumped my energy levels and made me miraculously recover from my illness. And what I have to say is:

Zazzle, how fucking retarded are you? Seriously! To put Kate Moss's legendary quote "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" on children's clothes? I mean, really? Maybe I'm too sick or too outraged but all I can say is that you gotta be fucking stupid to do something like that! Do you even know how something like that could affect a child? Do you, you stupid fucks?

I'm sorry for my Tourette's outburst but retarded people make me absolutely crazy! If Kate Moss wants to say it, fine. She's a grown-up and we all know she doesn't make the smartest choices in the world. But to actually indoctrinate children with this philosophy...Ahhhh! My grandma is right, we'r close to the end!

Hoje, estou em casa doentinha e estava a tentar evitar o facto da capa da Vogue US com a Kate Moss já ter saído, para não ter de tentar escrever nada remotamente inteligente e engraçado sobre esse tema, nem sobre tema nenhum para dizer a verdade. No entanto, uma pequena viagem ao The Fashion Police aumentou-me logo os níveis de energia e assisti a uma recuperação milagrosa das minhas maleitas. E o que eu tenho a dizer é isto:

Zazzle, vocês são mesmo uns retardados de merda! A sério! Pôr a legendária frase de Kate Moss "Nada sabe tão bem como a magreza" em roupas de criança? A sério? Talvez seja a doença a falar ou então estou mesmo chateada, mas a única coisa que me apraz dizer é que vocês são mesmo uns estúpidos de merda! Mas vocês sabem como é que uma coisa dessas afecta uma criança? Sabem, seus grandes anormais?

Perdoem o meu Tourette, mas estas pessoas completamente retardadas são uma coisa que me deixa louca! Se a Kate Moss quer andar aí a dizer disparates é com ela. Ela já é crescidinha e toda a gente sabe que a mocinha não é das mais sensatas nas suas escolhas de vida. Mas agora andar a endoutrinar as criancinhas! Ahhh! A minha avó é que sabe! O fim do mundo está próximo!

Red Soles For Everyone

Louboutin's request for the injuction against YSL has been denied. If you haven't heard about it, read it here on vogue.com.uk . It really is the end of an era! However, I believe that, even though the red sole has become a trademark for Louboutin, other designers should not be deprived from using that color. If every designer coined a color for their soles, then we would soon run out of colors and only a handful of designers could design shoes. The fashionista in me is a tad sad that the mystique is over, but the legal and practical mind (no that part of me hasn't left me yet) in me thinks it was the right call by Judge Victor Marrero.

By the way, I don't know why Louboutin went crazy on YSL. Luciano Padovan has been doing redish soles for quite a while. Ok, they're not exactly red, but no one could tell the difference, really. I bought a pair in Milan last year and even the most fashion conscious person could be fooled into believing they were Louboutin.

O pedido de injunção da Louboutin contra a YSL foi negado. Se não conhecem o caso, leiam a história aqui na vogue.com.uk. É mesmo o fim de uma era! No entanto, acredito que, apesar da sola vermelha se ter tornado num símbolo da Louboutin, os outros designers não deveriam ser privados de usar aquela cor. Se todos os designers reclamassem uma cor, em breve acabariam as cores disponíveis e só meia dúzia de designers poderiam desenhar sapatos. A fashionista em mim está um pouco triste por esta mística ter acabado, mas a mente jurídica e prática (não essa parte da minha pessoa ainda não desapareceu) em mim pensa que esta foi a decisão acertada por parte do Juíz Victor Marrero.

Também não percebo porque é que a Louboutin atacou somente a YSL. A Luciano Padovan também tem solas avermelhadas. Pronto ok, não são vermelhas, mas assim ao longe parecem. Comprei uns Padovan em Milão o ano passado e até a pessoa mais fashion podia ser enganada e pensar que eram Louboutin.

Estou no twitter, mas ainda não tive necessidade de partilhar muito com o mundo! No entanto, sigo muitos twitters, especialmente, senão mesmo exclusivamente, twitters do mundo da moda. E hoje descobri o melhor twitter de sempre: o CondeElevator, que aparentemente ouve e vê tudo o que se passa nos elevadores da Conde Nast. A sua promessa é simples: " O que se ouve nos elevadores da Conde Nast, não fica nos elevadores da Conde Nast". Portuguese Do It Better

The September issue of Vogue Portugal is out and it's cover is just gorgeous! It features lithuanian model Auguste Abeliunaite who was photographed by Luis Monteiro. I love the fact that Vogue Portugal features more models than other celebrities on the cover, because at the end of the day, that is what models are for, right?

This cover smells like the 90's , which I love it so much, I guess. Kinda reminds of the days I discovered fashion magazines when I was just a preteen.

I'm in Dublin right now, so I can't get my hands on it right away, but I already asked my mom to get it for me! I'll go mental if she forgets!

A Vogue Portugal de Setembro já saiu e a capa é simplesmente linda! A capa é a modelo lituanaAuguste Abeliunaite, que foi fotografada por Luis Monteiro. Adoro o facto da Vogue Portugal ter mais modelos nas capas do que outras celebridades, porque, afinal de contas, é para isso que as modelos servem, certo? A capa tem um cheirinho a anos 90 e acho que é por isso que gosto tanto dela. Lembra-me os tempos em que era apenas uma pré-adolescente e comecei as descobrir o mundo das revistas de moda.

Agora estou em Dublin, por isso não há grande hipótese de lhe deitar a mão...por enquanto, porque já pedi à minha querida mãe para ma comprar. Só espero que ela não se esqueça, senão dá-me uma coisinha má!

The Iron Lady

Margaret Thatcher revisited as Georgia May Jagger plays the Iron Lady for a Harper's Bazaar editorial, in which she was photographed by Terry Richardson in the ever classic and well-tailored style of "Maggie". This is one of the best things I have seen in a long time! But I'm sure that has something to do with my undying love for Thatcher. Britain's former Prime-Minister is one of my heroes. I absolutely love and admire her! Not only was she a great politician but also a symbol of women's power. She was a woman and she always stayed true to that. She was always confident enough not to have the need to transform herself into a man, proving one can be feminine, smart and powerful all at once! I wish women all over the world would learn that lesson! Once and for all!

Uh and I can't wait to see Meryl Streep as Margaret in "The Iron Lady"! Meryl is pretty badass herself!

Margaret Thatcher revisitada num editorial da Harper's Bazaar em que Georgia May Jagger, fotograda por Terry Richardson, representa a Dama de Ferro no seu sempre clássico estilo. Este editorial é uma das melhores coisas que tenho visto. Aposto que este facto está relacionado com o meu amor eterno por Thatcher. A ex-Primeira-Ministra britânica é uma das minhas heroínas. Tenho uma enorme admiração e adoração por ela. Ela não era apenas uma óptima política, mas também um símbolo do poder das mulheres. Ela era uma mulher e foi sempre fiel a esse facto. Foi sempre confiante o suficiente para nunca se querer transformar num homem, provando que se pode ser feminina, inteligente e poderosa, tudo ao mesmo tempo. Só queria que todas as mulheres por esse mundo fora aprendessem esta lição! De uma vez por todas!

Uh e estou louca para ver a Mery Streep no filme "The Iron Lady". Ela também é muito badass!
