When I realized that Kate Moss was on the cover of British Vogue I was like "Not again", but then I really looked at it and it's an absolutely amazing cover. The colors, the Versace dress, the earrings, that rope... But what's up with Kate's boobs? Were they there before? Or is this some kind of Versace/Photoshop voodoo thing?

What do you think about seeing Kate on British Vogue again? 

I kind get it! They're on Olympic Games /Queen's Diamond Jubilee fever, so how could they not put their biggest national treasure on the cover?

Quando vi que a Kate Moss é a capa da Vogue Britânica de Junho pensei logo "Outra vez não", mas depois de analisar a capa convenientemente vi que é absolutamente fantástica. As cores, o vestido Versace, aqueles brincos, a corda... Mas o que é que se passa com as mamas da Kate? Elas estavam lá antes ou isto é alguma espécie de voodoo Versaciano com uma ajuda do Photoshop?

E o que acham de ver a Kate outra vez na capa da Vogue Britânica?

Eu até os percebo! Eles estão a sofrer de Síndrome de Jogos Olímpicos/Jubileu da Rainha, por isso como não pôr o seu maior tesouro nacional na capa?

This is a stunning picture by itself, but what truly does it for me is "Vogue Paris" written in pink. I mean, pink over grey is just perfect, is it not?

Some things are inevitable. If your mom was a supermodel you're bound to have some modelling skills. To prove it, here's 10 year old Kaia Gerber, daughter of one of my favorite supermodels of all time, the beautiful Cindy Crawford. Kaia is the face of  Young Versace, a collection for both girls and boys from the ages of 0-12, which will be presented in Florence tomorrow at Pitti Immagine Bimbo. Cindy's girl is just as beautiful as her mom and seems to be a natural in front of the camera. But let's face it little girls love to dress up and have their picture taken, no matter who their mommy is!

Para o provar temos Kaia Gerber de dez anos, filha de uma das minhas super modelos preferidas de todos os tempos, a fantástica Cindy Crawford. Kaia é a cara da Young Versage, uma colecção para meninas e meninos dos 0 aos 12 anos, que será apresentada amanhã em Florença no Pitti Immagine Bimbo. A filha de Cindy tem traços tão bonitos quanto os da mãe e parece ter um jeito natural para estar à frente das câmeras.  Mas admitamos, independentemente de quem seja a sua mãe, todas as meninas gostam de ser embonecar.

Dark Surfers - Gisele for Givenchy Spring/Summer 2012

Gisele Bündchen is the new face of Givenchy for S/S 2012. The model was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott under a dark beach sky, proving that summer doesn't have to be all sunny and colorful. It kinda reminds of the beach in the movie Twilight, don't you think (disclaimer: I watched the first movie and I liked it, but I'm not a crazy Twilight fan, that passes out when she sees Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner without a shirt ok? So chill!)? It's hard to think of this as a summer campaign but it's so stunning no one really cares. I don't really like to think of  things as being intentional, specially in fashion, but maybe this really was meant to push the boundaries of what we think makes a season. 

Gisele Bündchen é a nova cara da Givenchy para a próxima P/V 2012. A modelo foi fotografada   na praia por Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, sob um céu escuro e nublado,  mostrando que o Verão pode ser muito mais que apenas solarengo e colorido. Lembra-me um bocadinho a praia do Twilight, não acham (disclaimer: vi o primeiro filme da saga e gostei, mas não sou nenhuma fã louca que desmaia quando vê o Robert Pattinson ou o Taylor Lautner sem camisola, por isso, relaxem ok?) ? É difícil pensar nestas, como uma campanha de Verão, mas a campanha é tão fnatástica que acho que ninguém quer saber da estação que promove. Não gosto de pensar que há sempre uma intenção por trás das coisas, especialmente no mundo da moda, mas talvez esta campanha queira mesmo obrigar-nos a repensar aquilo que faz uma estação.

The amazing Gisele and the slightly less amazing Ryan Barrett are the stars of the new Versace S/S 2012 campaign shot my Mert Allas and Marcus Piggott in Borrego Springs, California.
Gisele looks phenomenal as usual, proving she's worth every penny of her supermodel paycheck. This woman is the bomb! Ryan, however, is kinda dead. I hate to be all ANTM's judge on him, but we kinda lost his face, which is a shame, when you got a face like that!

A Gisele está fenomenal como sempre, mostrando que vale todos os cêntimos que cobra. Esta mulher é mesmo a melhor! O Ryan, por outro lado, está um bocadinho morto. Não queria nada de fazer de júri do ANTM, mas perdemos a cara do moço, o que é muito triste, quando se tem uma cara daquelas!

OH MY GOD! I just died and went to magazine cover heaven! Kristen Stewart is on the cover of W's September issue and she's looking hot! Don't you all wanna die and come back looking like that? Cause I do!

I'm not a big fan of Kristen's acting (the two movies she was in I ever saw were "Twilight" and "Panic Room" and in both, she always seems to be out of breath, which is rather disturbing and annoying) but I like her. She seems sweet in a deer-in-the-headlights kind of way. She has a cool style and as we can see here, she is gorgeous!

But don't credit it all on Kristen, W Magazine has something to do with it! They always have the best covers, the ones you go and say "Oh my God, I need to take the bus to O'Connell, go to Eason and spend 10€ that I don't have in that magazine!"! Oh, it doesn't happen to you? Well, just me then!

Anyways, I'm loving the 60's Playboy bunny vibe! Hopefully Mert Allas & Marcus Piggott can come and take my picture as well. And don't forget to bring Edward Enninful to style me like a goddess!

Oh meu Deus! Morri e fui para o paraíso das capas de revista! A Kristen Stewart está na capa da W de Setembro e está quente, muito quente! Não querem todas morrer e reencarnar na Kristen? Eu quero!

Não sou grande fã dela, enquanto actriz, porque nos dois filmes que vi dela, "Twilight" e "Sala de Pânico", ela estava sempre a arfar, o que é um bocadinho assustador e irritante. Mas ela parece querida, assim sempre meio perdida. Também tem um estilo bastante cool e, como podemos ver, a miúda é linda, por isso não há como não gostar.

Mas isto não é só obra da Kristen. A W também tem algo a ver com esta obra de arte. Eles têm sempre as melhores capas, aquelas que nos fazem pensar "Oh meu Deus, tenho de apanhar o autocarro para a O'Connell, ir à Eason e gastar €10, que não tenho, nesta revista!". Não vos acontece? É só a mim, então!

Bem, continuando, só para dizer que estou a adorar a vibe coelhinha da Playboy dos anos 60! Se Deus quiser, o Mert Allas & Marcus Piggott também vêm aqui a casa tirar-me umas fotos e trazem também o Edward Enninful para fazer o styling à deusa de Hollywwod!

Joyeux Anniversaire, Vogue Paris!

Pois é, fashionistas e não fashionistas, nem eu nem o blogue morremos! Sofremos apenas um coma algo prolongado causado pela vida em geral. Acontece a vida intrometer-se entre mim e os trapos, mas acabo sempre por voltar! Desta vez fui trazida de volta pela Vogue Paris de Outubro, a edição do 90º aniversário! Via-a e decidi, baseada apenas na capa, que tinha de a ter! Procurei, procurei e lá a encontrei. 624 pág. e quase 2kg de pura fantasia, luxo e excès, que estou a adorar devorar!
