Love the colors, the light, the styling and of course Gisele.

I wish blogger would let me post bigger horizontal pictures, so you could really see them, but oh well, gotta work with what we've got.

So do you like it? Would you buy it? I wonder how much Vogue Brasil would cost in Dublin...

Adoro as cores, a iluminação, o styling e claro, a Gisele.

7 Summer Facts About Me

Hi everyone! Summer is officially here. However the Irish weather seems to not have gotten the memo. It has been raining nonstop for hours now...Oh well, but let's forget about that. As you can see the blog is in full Summer mode with the new header, designed by my dear friend Catarina. Do you like it? 
But moving on. A few weeks ago I got my first blogger award (Yay!) from the sweet Dina Leandro from the amazing blog Spikes and Studs. She awarded me with "The Versatile Blogger Award". I don't know how versatile I really am, but hey, I got the award. So thanks Dina!:) The rules said I had to share 7 random facts about me, but I've been struggling with what I should say. Today, since it's Summer, I decided to share 7 Summer facts about me, or better yet, 7 summer activities I love. Hope you enjoy it!

Olá! O Verão chegou oficialmente. Mas o tempo irlandês parece não ter recebido a mensagem. Tem estado a chover há horas sem parar...Mas, pronto, vamos esquecer esse facto. Como podem ver, o blog também está em modo Verão com uma nova imagem, desenahda pela minha querida amiga, Catarina. Gostam?
Mas avançando. Há umas semanas recebi o meu primeiro blogger award (yay!) da querida Dina Leandro do fantástico blog "Spikes and Studs". O prémio é o de "The Versatile Blogger Award", mas não sei o quão versátil um blog de moda pode ser na verdade. De qualquer modo, foi-me atribuido o prémio, por isso, obrigada Dina!:) As regras diziam que tinha de partilhar 7 factos sobre mim, mas tive dificuldade em escolher esses factos. Mas hoje, sendo Verão decidi partilhar 7 factos relacionados com o Verão, ou melhor, 7 actividades de Verão que eu adoro.

#1 Swimming
For me going to the beach is not about tanning or showing off my new bikini. It's all about spending as much time as I can in the ocean, swimming, floating or simply pretending I'm Ariel, the Little Mermaid.
#1 Nadar
Para mim o objectivo de ir á praia não está em bronzear-me nem em mostrar o bikini novo, mas sim em passar o máximo de tempo dentro de água a nadar, flutuar ou simplesmente fingir que sou a Pequena Sereia.

#2 Relaxing in the country side

Just love going to my grandparents place in the country and contemplate life aka do nothing.

#Relaxar no campo

Adoro ir para a terrinha dos meus avós e contemplar a vida, que é como quem diz, não fazer nada.

#3 Eating ice-cream
Not that I don't do it all year-round, but it just tastes better during summer.
#3 Comer gelado
Não que eu não coma gelados durante o ano todo, mas no Verão sabem melhor.

#4 Reading on the beach
Reading magazine and books is a must at the beach. Just laying there doesn't cut it for me.
#4  Ler na praia
Ler livros e revistas na praia é obrigatório. Ficar ali deitada a olhar para ontem não dá para mim.

#5 Village parties
Portuguese popular music and lot's of dancing in our small village.
#Festas das Terrinhas
Música pimba e muito dança nas terrinhas.

 #6 Eating snails
They're so cute, but so tasty. My favorite summer treat.
#6 Comer caracóis
São tão fofinhos, mas tão saborosos... O meu petisco preferido do Verão.

#7 Topless at the beach
Love the fact that I can free the girls (guilt free) and take them for a swim. Does summer get any better than that? Ah ah!
#7 Fazer topless na praia
Adoro poder libertar as meninas (sem me sentir culpada) dar um mergulho. Mas há coisa melhor no Verão!Ah ah!

Dark Surfers - Gisele for Givenchy Spring/Summer 2012

Gisele Bündchen is the new face of Givenchy for S/S 2012. The model was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott under a dark beach sky, proving that summer doesn't have to be all sunny and colorful. It kinda reminds of the beach in the movie Twilight, don't you think (disclaimer: I watched the first movie and I liked it, but I'm not a crazy Twilight fan, that passes out when she sees Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner without a shirt ok? So chill!)? It's hard to think of this as a summer campaign but it's so stunning no one really cares. I don't really like to think of  things as being intentional, specially in fashion, but maybe this really was meant to push the boundaries of what we think makes a season. 

Gisele Bündchen é a nova cara da Givenchy para a próxima P/V 2012. A modelo foi fotografada   na praia por Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, sob um céu escuro e nublado,  mostrando que o Verão pode ser muito mais que apenas solarengo e colorido. Lembra-me um bocadinho a praia do Twilight, não acham (disclaimer: vi o primeiro filme da saga e gostei, mas não sou nenhuma fã louca que desmaia quando vê o Robert Pattinson ou o Taylor Lautner sem camisola, por isso, relaxem ok?) ? É difícil pensar nestas, como uma campanha de Verão, mas a campanha é tão fnatástica que acho que ninguém quer saber da estação que promove. Não gosto de pensar que há sempre uma intenção por trás das coisas, especialmente no mundo da moda, mas talvez esta campanha queira mesmo obrigar-nos a repensar aquilo que faz uma estação.

Gisele and Ryan for Versace Spring/Summer 2012

The amazing Gisele and the slightly less amazing Ryan Barrett are the stars of the new Versace S/S 2012 campaign shot my Mert Allas and Marcus Piggott in Borrego Springs, California.
Gisele looks phenomenal as usual, proving she's worth every penny of her supermodel paycheck. This woman is the bomb! Ryan, however, is kinda dead. I hate to be all ANTM's judge on him, but we kinda lost his face, which is a shame, when you got a face like that!

A fantástica Gisele e o ligeiramente menos fantástico Ryan Barrett são as estrelas da campanha de P/V 2012 da Versace, fotografada por Mert Allas e marcus Piggott em Borrego Springs, California.
A Gisele está fenomenal como sempre, mostrando que vale todos os cêntimos que cobra. Esta mulher é mesmo a melhor! O Ryan, por outro lado, está um bocadinho morto. Não queria nada de fazer de júri do ANTM, mas perdemos a cara do moço, o que é muito triste, quando se tem uma cara daquelas!
