Petals & Bejeweled Lips - Dior Couture Spring 2013

My love for the latest Dior Couture collection is so great that one post could not be enough. You definitely need to see the details of the garments and the insane lips that complemented the collection so well. Honestly, I'm not sure how practical bejeweled lips are and if they'll appeal to non-drag queens, but I see shiny glossy lips in our future.

O meu amor pela última colecção Couture da Dior é tão grande que um só post não era suficiente. Vocês precisam mesmo de ver os detalhes das peças e os lábios loucos que tão bem acompanharam a colecção. Sinceramente, não sei o quão práticos são e se serão apelativos a outras pessoas que não travestis, mas vejo lábios brilhantes e cheios de de gloss no nosso futuro.

Rococo Details From Chanel

Absolutely loved the hair and make-up from the Chanel Cruise Collection show. It was a great interpretation of 18th century's fashion. 

And the Chanel beauty mark...Glorious!

Adorei mesmo o cabelo e a maquilhagem do desfile Cruise da Chanel. Foi uma óptima interpretação da moda do séc.XVIII.

E o sinal da Chanel...Genial!

Now I swear, I'll try to stop the whole Marie Antoinette/Chanel obsession.

But before I must advise you to read more about Marie Antoinette. She wasn't just the crazy person the revolutionaries made us believe she was. She was a little girl that become Queen during a very difficult time for the Monarchy. I hope you all get a chance to learn more about her. I read "Marie Antoinette - The Journey" by Lady Antonia Fraser and truly recommend it. 

 Pronto, agora vou parar com esta obsessão com a Maria Antonieta e a Chanel.

Mas antes disso, tenho de vos aconselhar a ler mais sobre ela. Ela não era só aquela maluca, que os revolucionários nos quiseram fazer acreditar. Ela era uma menina que se tornou Rainha numa altura muito difícil para a Monarquia. Espero que tenham oportunidade de aprender mais sobre ela. Li o liro "Maria Antonieta" da Lady Antonia Fraser e recomendo bastante.

Here are some details from Prada's show. Loved, loved the jeweled clothes and accessories. It was a big part of the magic.

The only accessory I wasn't feeling were the flat clown shoes. But still, they were part of the fantasy.

Aqui ficam alguns detalhes do desfile da Prada. Adorei as aplicações de jóias e missangas nas roupas e acessórios. Foi mesmo grande parte da magia da colecção.

O único acessório do qual não gostei muito foram os sapatos rasos, estilo palhaço, mas perdoo, porque faz parte da fantasia.
