Some NYFW Favorites

Oh NYFW has just gone by so quickly! I was hoping to do a more detailed coverage of the shows but this week has been crazy. However I didn't wanna pretend there weren't cool things from NY and go straight to LFW, so here are some of my favorites (cause trust me there were a lot of other great things) from last week. Hope you enjoy it!

A semana de moda de Nova Iorque passou tão depressa! Contava fazer uma cobertura mais detalhada dos desfiles, mas esta semana foi a loucura. No entanto, não quero fingir que não se passou nada em Nova Iorque e ir directamente para Londres, por isso deixo-vos alguns (sim porque isto é apenas uma pequena amostra) dos meus favoritos desta semana. What A Girly Girl Wants - Victoria by Victoria Beckham

I have been a bit disconnected of what went on in the last days of NYFW, but today I decided to take a look at it. Although everyone has been crazy about Proenza Schouler, what really caught my eye was Victoria by Victoria Beckham. Crazy right? But I really liked the almost protestant simplicity and austerity of the collection. It shows that color palettes, prints and shapes don't have to be over the top to be interesting.  I also believe it's a collection a lot of young women will want to wear, don't you think?

Tenho andado um bocadinho desligada do que se tem passado nos últimos dias da semana da moda, mas hoje decidi dar uma espreitadela. Apesar de toda a gente ter ficado louca com Proenza Schouler, o que me captou mais a atenção foi a colecção da Victoria by Victoria Beckham. Está tudo a achar que enlouqueci, certo? Mas gostei mesmo muito daquela simplicidade e austeridade quase protestante da colecção. A prova de que as paleta de cores, as estampas e as formas não têm de ser exageradas para serem interessantes. Acho que é uma colecção que vai apelar a muitas jovens, não acham?
