Summer Has Just Begun

As some of you may know I am in my hometown of Lisbon, Portugal, enjoying some time in the sun. It's been great to see everyone I love and see all the things that are familiar to me. I feel like I don't wanna go back, but eventually, I must.
 Naturally being here leaves me very little time for blogging, but I'm took five minutes of freedom and looked up an editorial that would capture my current state of mind et voilà, here it is. Makes your skin burn, right?

Como alguns de vocês devem saber, estou de volta a Lisboa para aproveitar o Verão. Tem sido fantástico estar com todos aqueles que amo e ver todas as coisas que me são familiares.Nem quero pensar em ter de voltar para Dublin. Naturalmente voltar a casa não me deixa muito tempo livre para o blog, mas aproveitei estes cinco minutinhos livres para procurar e postar um editorial que captasse o meu actual estado de espírito, et voilà, aqui está ele. Até queima a pele!

Pan Am Glam

I'm completely obsessed with Pan Am's 60's style. The skirts, the cardigans, the hats, the gloves...even the hair and make-up. It's all so glamorous, so put-together, so lady-like.

Although I like the androgyny of today's fashion and style, I've certainly gained a new appreciation for the time when ladies were ladies and gentlemen were gentlemen.

How about you? Are you sold on the look? And are you fan of the show? I can't get enough of it. It's a shame it got cancelled. 

Estou completamente obcecada com o estilo 60's da série Pan Am. As saias, os cardigans, os chapéus, as luvas...até os cabelos e a maquilhagem. É tudo tão glamoroso, tão composto, tão feminino.

Apesar de  gostar do estilo andrógeno de hoje em dia, ganhei um novo gosto pelos tempos em que as senhoras eram senhoras e os cavalheiros eram cavalheiros.

E vocês, estão convencidos? São fãs da série? Eu estou mesmo viciada. É uma pena ter sido cancelada.
