It was about time someone gave these girls a magazine cover! Thank you Petite Tiaras for giving them a chance!
What's your favorite cover? I'm feeling Harper's Bazaar, Seventeen and Snow White's angles on Vogue! And how about those story titles? So cute!

(I'm sorry the image is so small, but the blogger wasn't accepting a bigger image. Just click on the picture to take a better look at it.)

Marni at H&M

Ah, there's nothing like good news in the morning to cheer you up! Today fashionistas around the world are going crazy after the announcement of Marni's collaboration with H&M. A collaboration I wasn't expecting but that I welcome all the same. Marni is definitely one of my favorite brands. I just love the prints and shapes... I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with brand founder and creative director Consuelo Castiglioni since this design genius started her career as a fur designer...But let's forget that unfortunate moment (after all everyone makes mistakes) and focus on the brands newest adventure.

The collection, which includes a line for women and men, is all we expect of Marni, colorful and playful, mixing lot's of tribal and geometric prints, with a ever chic essence. I'm glad to see that menswear line is somewhat masculine and will appeal to a broader audience that the Versace collection, for instance. I'd love to see my boyfriend in that blue and grey striped sweater. I also got my eye on the blue and white jacket in the first picture and in some of the necklaces that are shown in the video. The shoes are also looking very tempting, but I'm afraid that the quality might not be the best...
As always I wanna know your opinion. Are you excited about this collaboration?

Marni at H&M will be available from March 8 2012 in 260 stores and online and I wanna be in line to get my Marni fix!

Fashion Crystal Ball

Hello patient blog readers! I'm sorry I haven't posted in so long, but I've been busy lately. Moving to a new apartment, going to San Francisco (because I have the best boyfriend in the world, who let's me tag along in his business trips)...You get it, right? I wanted to write about my experience in San Francisco, but I can't upload the photos from my phone... Whenever that is possible I'll write about it and give you some tips about what to see and where to shop and eat in San Francisco. I don't want to write a giant post today, but I must say I loved the States! Believe or not, it's just like the movies, which might explain why I was constantly expecting an asteroid to hit the earth or the zombie apocalypse to start. All in all it was great! They called me ma'am. I couldn't have asked for more!
As for today, I'll share with you a video from the 1930's showing futuristic fashion predictions for the 2000's. It was so fascinating how most of them were right on. I specially like the prediction that's made about men, who will be fitted with a phone and a radio...So true! It was also funny to me how they predicted the necessity of today's women to have clothes that can be adjusted to day and evening. I wonder if we will ever get to the point of fashion evolution that most tv shows and movies have predicted for the 2000's. Do you think we'r getting there?
Hope you enjoyed the video. I promise I'll be back soon!

It's Raining Glitter

Karl Lagerfeld has created a cosmetic collection that will be sold at Sephora throughout Europe and Singapore from November 6. The collection also includes holiday accessories, a Karl doll and my favorite, a Karl snow globe. If you don't know what to get me for Xmas, this is it, people!

Cutie Cat

The new Paul & Joe cat inspired make-up collection is too cute to ignore! I don't even care about the shades, I just want them all! I'm loving the lipsticks with the little paws and the cat in the hat! It reminds me of the Avon make-up and beauty products I would get as a kid. My Godmother was an Avon sales rep so I had all sorts of fruity hot pink lipsticks and Christmas tree shaped soaps. How I loved being a kid! I didn't have a perfect childhood, but it was a pretty good one and I would relieve all those great moments again if I could! Actually, I'm having a very kid moment right now! I keep thinking and talking about my childhood! Am I in denial? Am I refusing to grow up? Am I too scared of my adult life? Have I gotten to that "back in my day" point? Or am I just too good at being a kid? Theories accepted!

Paul & Joe is sold online at Asos and in stores worldwide (check the website)
